We called in here whilst on a walking tour of Georgetown. Sadly, we were unable to go inside because of prayers taking place, but the building is beautiful and immaculately maintained.

So it’s not the biggest mosque in Penang, however it’s the oldest by far. Built over 240 years ago, it’s a charming and well maintained mosque open for prayers. It’s close to street art too and also next to some Chinese clan houses, so you...More

We got a wonderful tour at this mosque from a guide who explained all about Muslim practice and the Qu'ran - interesting and useful information. As non-Muslims, we were not allowed inside but she took us around the entire perimeter and we could see everything...More

Since I did not enter inside of the mosque, I only looked around the mosque. You can take some photo from every corner of this mosque. I recommend to visit this place at afternoon, with the best of sunset.

As with most mosques this is a reasonably impressive looking building, but is also quite plain compared to many. We went up to the way in and were invited to have a tour. But the tour is around the outside only. At this mosque non...More

This Mosque is well worth a visit, dress modestly - you may be asked to wear a cape if you have too much flesh on show. Members of the Mosque are more than happy to give an explanation and to answer any of your questions....More

Located near Little India is a beautiful mosque with the combination of Indian and Malaysian architecture. Parking stands for bicycle just outside the mosque. It has a maktab where one can learn and get knowledge about Islam.
