A place that everyone should go. every step is worth the climb. The new temple is amazing. you will be wondering how they manage to build that is such a location. It's a miracle. Very calm and peaceful. A good place to meditate.
watch out for monkeys. Avoid bringing food and you may be attacked

There are 512 steps up a hill to reach the top of this temple. Definitely not on a full stomach like us. The view on top of the hill was breathtaking and the temple was so peaceful. A must go for anyone visiting Penang, but be mindful of the dress code enforced. Please do clothes that cover ur knees and arms.

Visited the temple on 3/3/2020. The temple opens early and stays open for a very long duration. This enable the devotees to take long hours to pray and get the Lords blessings.

The time when I was at this place was decades ago. Now it has been transformed into a tourist attraction as well as a place of Hindu worship.

One of Hindhu temple that you must visit in Penang. You have to climb up about 513 stairs and there's a lot of monkeys, dogs, cats, and goats up there. Please be aware that the temple is not open 24 hours, they only open at 6 am and 5:30 pm. When I was there, I didn't know about this, so when I was on top, the time was 3 pm and the temple still close. But the climb up was very worth it. The atmosphere is really peaceful and soothing.

There are monkeys everywhere, which is entertaining. The climb was nice. Loved the quiet, peaceful ambiance at the top.
