Ever wondered what it takes to make artisanal soy sauce? If your answer is yes, then this is the place to be. Sean and his team gave us a fantastic tour of their quaint little factory, nestled in the middle of your typical Penang neighborhood....More

We went to the factory for our Quality Management project purpose. But what we found there was no quality system applied in their factory. They failed to guide us. The factory’s owner daughter’s English was bad. We can’t even understand what she said. What we...More

The owner's daughter introduced their soy sauce products to me and explained how they produce the sauce. I purchased several bottles and the lady is extremely helpful to make use of all kind of material available to pack up the items. Not a big surprise,...More

It's quite out of the way and less a factory, more a shop where the production happens too. But as we had hired scooters it was a very worthwhile trip. The lady who runs it welcomed us and spent about 15 minutes explaining the process...More

Not your standard tour in the traditional sense of the word, but definitely worth the trip. The owner was welcoming and obviously extremely proud of her business. They make soy sauce and chilli sauce, among other things, using all traditional methods. They have been at...More

Our tour guide took us here on a recent trip to Penang. My girls loved being able to see how the soy sauce was made, and getting to try some. They are hooked! Unfortunately we live in the US, and have to settle for the...More
