Just got back after spending a week here. Stayed in what was described as a ‘Mansion Suite’ which it wasn’t. TV didn’t work no hot water, toilet kept getting blocked and the stairs from the ground floor to the bedroom were frankly a safety hazard....More

If visiting Georgetown don't miss this historical mansion, with its beautifull furniture and decorations well worth a visit. Admission is only RM20 and all monies go to the up keep on this beautiful house.

Yup! They do have English/Chinese tour guides. The guides use simple English to describe about the lifestyle of the Peranakans who lived in the mansion, so your kids will be able to understand the tour as well.

They provide free tour everyday, from 9.30am to 5pm. You just need to get entrance ticket and follow the tour. :)
