The cemetery has so much history attached to it, but sadly is in great need of a good clean up and a little more respect.

If you are interested in old cemeteries, this one has some beautiful old tombs. There is an interpretive panel and map showing some of the key graves, but it is interesting to just ramble around and explore.

It is a fascinating eye into the history of colonial Malaysia and the grave stones tell a sad story of disease and early death.

This is the place i enjoyed most in Penang. Off the tourist track, but lots of mosquito. Its fascinating with all the various tombs. A small hertiage cemetery with easy access.
