The City Hall dating back to 1903 is a beautiful building and one of many in George Town and worth a visit when there. Apart from the building's exterior there is not that much else to see however.

City Hall is just situated next to Town Hall. City Hall & Town Hall both are good for photo taking. The area is quiet and not packed with tourists. If you have time on hand, you could take a break at the restaurant of Town...More

Even though this is my second visit here this year, I still find the Victorian style building to be very majestic. You can take a nice panoramic picture of the building from the big field (Padang) in front.

This aspect of Penang's Heritage reflects a "Colonial Flavour"! It is located near the Esplanade and the adjoining seaside as well as Fort Cornwallis and the court buildings. There is also a Park which affords one the ability to take a well deserved rest!

The "elegantly designed" exteriors of the two beautiful colonial buildings (this one & the Town Hall building just a short distance to one side of this) are in my opinion "the main reason" why you should come walk on Lebuh Light on the northern side...More

This is a Victorian style building constructed in the early 1900's. We came here at night. The architecture of the building and the spot lights brought out its character and made the building looked very majestic.

If passing worth a picture as an impressively large white building. Nice features, situated behind fort Cornwallis.

Colonial building. It's in the "esplanade". In the coast, you can walk around it. In the afternoon, there are little local markets.

This large white Victorian style building constructed in 1903 guards the Esplanade opposite Fort Cornwallis and is a magnificent presence by the sea. It carries strong echoes of the grandeur of the British Empire. Particularly photogenic at dusk with the sun setting over Penang Hill...More
