Sea turtle conservation centre? For Real? There was something there and a couple of sea turtles in some small plastic containers. Hardly any room for them to swim. Calling it a conservation centre is a huge scam. There wasn't any staff to tell us what...More

Wow we loved our time here. We camped for only a night but it was so dang beautiful. We didn’t see any turtles but the phytoplankton was really cool to see and there were so many stars as well! So gorgeous. I highly recommend escaping...More

A great hike with friends. Great trail to and fro. A clean beach with clear waters. If you don't want to hike you can get there by boat at about rm150

We went to monkey beach yesterday and were left somewhat underwhelmed. Glad we did this today. Hilly to get there. Some stairs and some rooty trail. Arrival on the beach (otherwise known as turtle beach) is via the monomictic lake which was a muddy marsh...More

An better alternative to the more popular Monkey Bay beach walk. Catch bus 101 to entrance of national park. The walk to Kerachut beach is more challenging than that to Monkey Bay and will take 1 - 1.5hrs depending on level of fitness. Note that...More

Came here from our trek through the jungle, well worth the trip as this beach is clean and unspoilt. Lovely views and very peaceful. Can take about 2 hours through the jungle but like a small piece of private paradise if you time it right.
