There have a few entrance to the mall, unfortunately there was no security guard checking visitors' temperature if you are coming from the basement parking. However we have to give the basement parking a thumb-up because of its conveniences. The shops so-so only with typical fast-food chains but very few. We enjoyed going to the supermarket (Aeon); not too crowded. Other than that, nothing much to see and buy.

Yes, east coast mall is the biggest and most modern mall in kuantan. It houses Parksons departmental store, Aeon supermarket, the usual 'high street brands' and a good cinema. It also houses lots of franchise eateries like KFC, nando's chicken, chicken rice shop, starbucks, coffee bean, manhattan fishmarket, johnny's, baskin robbins, big apple donuts and black canyon (no McDonalds, Burger King or Kenny Rogers roasters!)

It has sufficient parking, but it's still a battle to get a parking space on weekends at lunch time. The layout of the underground parking is terrible!

Surprisingly, there is not a single chair/seat for customers to sit and rest their legs after trudging all over the 3 floors of the mall! There used to be a few on the 3rd floor, but not anymore. You'd think the management would like people to sit for a while so that they can continue shopping later. I think it is highly un-customer-friendly!! Also, how can it claim to be family orientated without seats for the elderly, small children or mothers with babys? Only Parksons has 2 seats on its 2nd floor.

The toilets are also not designed for muslim/local use. Most public toilets in malaysia have a water hose as muslims prefer to wash themselves after using the loo, rather than using toilet paper. Well, east coast mall wants to be 'different' i guess (could this be because it is owned by a singaporean?) and not have any hoses in the toilet stalls, and instead have bidets which, lets face it, most malaysians dont use!

The escalators are terribly planned/located. You cant just go straight up from one floor to the other. You have to detour around half the length of the mall and back again in order to go up the next escalator. Once again, not family orientated at all!!!!!

All in all, although the shops and eateries are good, I think the management is terrible! It gives me the impression that all they think about is dollars & cents, and not think about the customer.

If you are used to the malls in KL or big cities, the option to go to one in Kuantan is quite limited, but East Coast Mall is one of them.

Also the place for AEON Big, so basically you can find a lot of things there.
Have good restaurants, good shops, and comfortable for shopping. Parking not that easy though, but that depends on the time you go i guess.

Just went yesterday to get a ice cream cake, many people were queuing up but no social distancing or many not wearing mask. I only went to one place which also had floor marking for social distancing and message but no one was bothered to follow, I had to tell a family to stay away from as they are not social distancing but I doubt they understood me. I left without getting anything and very fast I was out of there.

If you dont like going into the elevators, going up and down is gonna be a pain for you, the layout of the mall makes you go around the whole place just to get to the next floor. Average shopping experience, some nice restaurants. absolutely packed in the weekends. the best mall in kuantan hands down

It's like a common problem of the other malls a Kuantan. Hard to get parking. Queing up for the park also cost h so much time. Sometimes i'll endup witj driving out from the park area and look for parking at the adjacent area. Hope for the next mall development at Kuantan can consider about parking space. It's like phone, which manufacturer can offer best long last battery wins the battle. Which mall that can offer best parking service, wins the market.

Seriously, how is this not a problem? I realise there are bidets in the stalls for washing purposes, but even if you use those, there is absolutely nothing for you to dry yourself with. There is usually a roll of paper outside for hand-drying purposes, but when I was last there, it had run out, and didn't look like it had been replaced for a while. So if you're at this mall, better pray that you don't ever need to use the toilet.

Compares to other malls in Kuantan this mall has no comparison actually. The design is much more cheerful and modern, the fact that it is under renovation at the front facade would add to a more tantalizing future. The various branded tenants would entice many shoppers to frequent this mall. Even though it does not have food court there are plenty of eateries with various range of taste preference or budget.

The most modern shopping mall here in Kuantan. Enjoy the experience eveytime and lots of variety. Food outlets too are plenty, with lots of choices.
