Batik I chose and batik I unpacked were not the same in pattern or quality. I chose table cloths with borders, but when I unpacked the borders were only on one side not all around the item like the one displayed. Many of the batik napkins were messy with irregular mistakes. When we picked out items they are then taken out back to package. I think the shop workers then chose lesser quality batiks to bring back to us. We spent lots of money and bought 3 bags full of items. The only items that were true to what I chose were the shirts.

Went there last week by cruise. Booked a cab for a day trip to the beach, shopping centre n dried food stuff . Last minute decided to visit this Natural Batik Village since was only 10 mins from the port.

We had a wonderful shopping spree -
batik T-shirts, blouses, table runners, bags, batik postcard n batik wrapped note books etc ! This is better than shopping at the East Coast Mall because we love batik.

We even got to learn how batik was created!

Next visit to Kuantan , we shall skip the malls to spend more time learning n creating our batik pieces!

Authentic. Interesting. Educational. Shoppers’ paradise for batik. They have a variety of batik products to sell. Interesting to watch batik stamping. Amazing to see how batik is made in a big scale. I loved watching a place that caters for study tours. Great for kids to have hands-on experience with batik painting. Great village.

Quite huge area n full of batik collections. Had fun with my teen doter and young doter playing with colors and brush, coloring the design we chosen for T shirt.

Air bit stuffy inside mayb bcoz of hot weather. Ideal for tourist. Price stil ok for some stuff but some are bit too pricey. U gotta kno what is cheap n worth to buy.

Staff jus ok but busy with own work so had to call few times to get their attn. Supposed to get my T shirt the nxt day but its not ready coz the tailor took emergency leave. No choice they said will send by post..received it after ard a week. It was ok.

A restaurant nearby is serving hot food and cool drinks. Worth to try ikan 3 rasa.

Plenty parking space.

Lots of batik can be purchase where prices can be as low as RM10 up to RM300+

Main highlight of the place is batik painting session where adults or children can easily choose templates and paint on them. Small batik cost RM8, medium RM10 and large is RM15. Good acitivity for family bonding and same time introduce batik art to children.

Staffs may be too busy to attend you but if you ask any of them for assistance, they are very friendly.

If you happened to be around Kuantan, please visit this place as it has batik painting (canting) for the kids and adults (if they are interested).

Should you feel that the design is not nice you can actually request the owner to make a newly design for your batik painting.

Plenty of paintings, t-shirts and souveniers to buy here.

This place is only abt 10 minutes driving to Black Stone Beach. As we go on off peak season. We can have 100% DIY time. Starting from drawing our own design. From the introduction to complete our art work. We took about 2.5 hours. Pay Rm40 for 2 pieces of artwork. They will help us to dry our batik n finish the end process part to permanent the colour. We are going to collect the next day b4 we leave Cherating . They can also post to you the finished work.
It's really fun.

Nice place to visit since if you around Kuantan – Cherating, there are not so much place to visit. My kids really enjoy their time here. Visitors can buy batik drawing and paint it here. Good experience especially for the kids.

There are selling a lots of batik, draw and paint by them. However, not like Terengganu batik which can offer you more variety & more cheaper. You also can see how they draw batik here.

The place where they selling batik is untidy and messy. The goods not properly displayed and some of the items doesn't have price tag.
