We have been here today to this farm due to a suggestion of our driver. While he was parking we reached the farm. It is true, it was time limit, however we have guests coming to Malaysia from the other side of the world so we kindly asked to pick some strawberries from the plant just to give them the experience. In a very bad manner we were ask to enter, paying in advance for a minimum guarantee- never happen before in similar places and when after 15 min we where out as there was a marginal difference of 38 gr (less than 1 strawberry ) we were
asked in the same rude and impolite manner to add 2 RM.
Making the story long as I am an expat leaving in Malaysia for more than 3 years and I think both the country and the people here deserve a much better reputation in terms of hospitality and service orientation. There are lot more farms in Cameron highlands. Look for alternatives if you can

Ive always seen it beside Copthorne Hotel entrance but never checked it out. Boy it has awesome homemade ice cream!! Im completely into it. The price is good and there are many variances in the menu. If you fancy some strawberry picking you can go in ( for free even if you didnt pick anything). The area is at a rather steep hillside so if you're bringing older/wheelchair it's not really comfortable.

EQ farm is close to Copthorne hotel and I have been visiting this place couple of times never disappointed. For strawberry self picking, pay MYR30 at the counter as deposit and and pay reasonable extra if they weigh more than half kg. The kids enjoyed picking the big fresh strawberries themselves, good learning for them. There's also fresh organic oyster mushroom being sold at counter.

We went on first time on afternoon, only realized that they open one time for self picking everyday and we had missed that.

When we went 2nd day, realize that it costs RM 30 and only allow 2 adults and one child to enter the farm, many sections were not open and many 'body guards' around to see if you steal their strawberries, and they weight the strawberries before you exit the farm and charge $$ for more than certain weight they allowed.

snacks sold in the farm were expensive compare to market outside as well.

I think the only good thing is they are strategically located near to the walking distance market only.

I like that they open lane by lane, instead of offering the whole farm to "pickers". This way, latecomers are not left picking from what was left by others before them. They have plenty of big, juicy strawberries which tastes better than the common Cameron strawberries which are sour (although a bit sour still) - I think this is as best as it gets in Cameron. It's RM 30 for 1/2 kg for 3 people.

EQ Strawberry Farm offers no sugar strawberry ice and no sugar jam which I love! I find the usual strawberry ice to be too sweet for my liking but their no sugar strawberry ice is just perfect.

All in all, a good visit.

This place has the best strawberries! Organic, abit expensive but they last longer and is sweet. This is my 2nd visit and they owner even teach you how you can identify the sweet strawberries.

They turn on chanting music for the strawberries to grow healthily and the of course means the strawberries is fantastic!

This trip was a little sad because on my first time the owner introduced us to his organic mushroom which we ordered and they cook on the spot for us to eat and enjoy the cooling weather.

So since its my 2nd time, I came here with the intention of picking my own strawberries and eat it while eating the mushrooms. But the owner wasnt around and the workers said there’s no more mushroom. Throughout my 3 days on cameron I revisited hoping to eat their mushrooms but didnt get to try it.

Till next time~

I like strawberry here. The owner told me it is an organic strawberry farm, he turn on the Dharma chanting music for his plants. I went inside with a foam tray to pick up the strawberry I should the deep red color, the green stub is raised and a deep groove is ready to eat than weight them and pay for it. There is a sample of fresh strawberries at the counter before deciding. There strawberries ice cream is really good too.
