The drive up was quite interesting with winding and narrow roads. Along the way we could see vegetable and tea plantations. At the base of the start of trek, ample parking space but no toilets. Weather was cool. They have wooden steps to walk up...More

Mossy forest is a rain forest in more than 1600 m altitude. Sun and fog change very fast and it's not too warm. Our guide showed us a lot of plants especially those catching insects. At the top of the path is look-out which is...More

Make sure you ask your guide to take you to the other tour activities first if there's fog in the morning; otherwise, you will not enjoy this place as much. Our guide, Ken from Golden Highlands was very knowledgeable and helped identify medicinal plants.

We booked our tour through our hotel for a very reasonable price. We were collected In a land rover to go to the mossy forest. We paid for a full day package when in actual fact the half day would have been better. The view...More

This attraction and the tea plantation are the 2 MUST for Cameron highlands. The path is short , in 50 min you are done. Nice Forrest.

When we went to there, I was expecting to be more of a jungle feeling. However, its an easy short trail and has a cool view from the top of the mountain.

I strongly recommend either go with a tour (that uses jeep/4WD vehicles) or drive equivalent vehicles to Mossy Forest. Although it is a paved road, it had too many potholes and very uneven; there's one section of the road... More
