It was a lovely Sunday morning and just after visiting the tea plantation, we decided to also visit the Mossy Forest which is located further up. The road is narrow and winding but it gives you a sense of adventure! No regrets when u reach...More

Wear proper hiking shoes if you opt to go beyond the properly constructed bridges/platform onto the trekking trail. It's a muddy affair. We thoroughly enjoyed the walk on the bridges which led us into to the mysterious mossy forest. The mist added drama and our...More

Nice place, a bit adventurous also, good for trekking. Road a bit narrow, it is second time we drove our Toyota Axio(means you can drive a sedon also) to this place.

The weather was nice on the day we hike and I am still in love with it. It is totally a different type of Forrest where you don't get to see always. However for those who visit Mossy Forrest please do take care of the...More

I absolutely loved this place. We took the "lazy" walk up the mossy forest from the highest accessible point of Mount Brinchang since we came here with young children. However I would encourage anyone who has time and stamina to spend, to trek through the...More

I drove my car up and it was the most challenging ride ever. Firstly, the road was very steep until it exhausted my break pad with rubber smell when I was coming down. Secondly, the road heading up was very curvy. Without any safety mirror...More

My partner and I attempted to drive up to Mossy Forest on 13 May 2017 morning, but the condition of the road leading up to the rendezvous point (i.e. where the Mossy Forest boardwalk is located) is very narrow, uneven and had lots of potholes....More

We came to see the mossy forest as part of a tour with eco Cameron. We're not big on tours but it seemed to be the best way to see things at the Cameron highlands after navigating by ourselves for a few days! The mossy...More

We were meant to be trekking for half a day but our guide explained that the walk was too wet and he advised a trip to the mossy forest. We were given the choice of the easy route or the harder, less crowded walk. Naturally...More

I strongly recommend either go with a tour (that uses jeep/4WD vehicles) or drive equivalent vehicles to Mossy Forest. Although it is a paved road, it had too many potholes and very uneven; there's one section of the road... More

You don't need a 4WD but I warn you the road is very winding and narrow. We took a tour even though we had a hire car and I was glad that he was driving. Go early it gets very busy ad crowded. If you go early there is less... More
