Enchanting mystical forest up the mountains

I absolutely loved this place. We took the "lazy" walk up the mossy forest from the highest accessible point of Mount Brinchang since we came here with young children. However I... read more

The weather was nice on the day we hike and I am still in love with it. It is totally a different type of Forrest where you don't get to see always. However for those who visit Mossy Forrest please do take care of the Forrest. Try to avoid touching Mossy, no new rubbish from yourself and bring back any... More

I absolutely loved this place. We took the "lazy" walk up the mossy forest from the highest accessible point of Mount Brinchang since we came here with young children. However I would encourage anyone who has time and stamina to spend, to trek through the various trails available through Mount Brinchang to the Mossy Forest to experience maximum connection with... Everybody told us about the mossy forest, so I was very excited to get there. But unfortunately, it is not thaaaaaat long and we had a clear weather, so there was no fog at all. I think it would have made the mossy forest more "fairytale". But after all it is a nice way and it's interesting to see trees... More

I drove my car up and it was the most challenging ride ever. Firstly, the road was very steep until it exhausted my break pad with rubber smell when I was coming down. Secondly, the road heading up was very curvy. Without any safety mirror located at the hidden corner, you had no idea whether there was any incoming traffic... More

My partner and I attempted to drive up to Mossy Forest on 13 May 2017 morning, but the condition of the road leading up to the rendezvous point (i.e. where the Mossy Forest boardwalk is located) is very narrow, uneven and had lots of potholes. From our experience, this is definitely not for regular cars to drive up to the... More

We came to see the mossy forest as part of a tour with eco Cameron. We're not big on tours but it seemed to be the best way to see things at the Cameron highlands after navigating by ourselves for a few days! The mossy forest was lovely, and the views were beautiful! We enjoyed finding out about the plant... More

We were meant to be trekking for half a day but our guide explained that the walk was too wet and he advised a trip to the mossy forest. We were given the choice of the easy route or the harder, less crowded walk. Naturally we opted for the more difficult of the two. Our 4-wheel drive made light work... More

The road that lead to mossy forest is narrow; winding; & picturistique. The road is very uneven & sometimes muddy when rainning. Suit SUV & off-road vehicle . The whole place is a wonderful experience for my family & I . We just love it . Please keep Mossy Forest CLEAN & Beautiful !

If you decide to self-drive up to the mossy forest, be warned: the road is very steep, narrow, and with lots of holds. Better use a 4x4 like most tourists do. We used a regular car and we almost turned back half way through. But once you get there, you can walk a wooden path through the forest with amazing... More

We did a mossy forest / tea plantation tour. The mossy forest is a very protected forest so they build a boardwalk over it so you won't damage it. Once you get to the starting point (by car) its only 600m long. The forest it self is very beautiful and very different from your regular forest or rain forest. (yes...... More
