Visited here as part of a half day tour and didn't find it very impressive. You walk up a board walk to a lookout tower and the views are ok. Yes there is moss along the boardwalk but really not a big.

Refreshingly natural, going to this place you need to book a tour which covers all the transport from your hotel to food. Amazingly refreshing and so much greeeeennnn.

This forest is quite special as it is at the ridge of the mountain. The paths and walkways were under repair when we visited.

The time flew as Jason Chin of Cameron Secrets told us about the forest, fauna, flora, Malaysian ecosystem and more. We walked between ancient trees almost suspended in the air by their root system. We saw fascinating wonders that we will never forget. Our tour...More

Five minutes from the entry of the forest there is already a roadblock saying it is close to due to the raining season. But you can go around this. You can only walk the first 100m. TOP TIP!! If you walk further down the road...More

The Mossy Forest is under construction. The construction workers were really friendly and let us in to walk the first bit, but that was a bit disappointing after coming from Jungle Trail 1...

Mossy & muddy. Interesting excursion with breathtaking view. Stepping foot on the spongy mossy soil of a 200million years old forest is indeed a special experience.

i rode up to mossy forest with my mountain bike..it was a great experience...the jungle and the fresh air, coupled with misty fog, makes it very refreshing..and on the way back can stop by the tea plantation for a cup of tea with scone.

Original mossy forest was closed due to monsoon. Went on a different hike. Beautiful mountain and appreciate the nature all around.

You should definitely do it through the company Discover Cameron's. They are on TripAdvisor and FB. It's so cheap and their service was excellent. You do the tea plantation in the same day too and I must say I've never seen... More

There are lots of trails in Cameron Highlands to hike & walk. Mossy Forest has to be guided. Unless you are prepared to be lost as it is NOT a routed trail. Regards.
