Our review is probably impacted by the torrential rain whilst we were there. As it was so wet we were unable to do the trek on the unmarked paths as planned and just did a short stretch of the boardwalk. The rain and mist meant there was no view at all and although the trees and plants are abundant nothing... More

My kids and I had a great experience at the Mossy Forest recently. Our guide, Appu was brilliant, knowledgeable and personally, a very pleasant person. We went through the beautiful forest with information fed to us from time to time, covering from the history of the forest, the bugs to the pitcher plants! The moss there were just impressive it... After doing jungle trek 1 we made it to the mossy forest. I have to say we saw better views on the trek and also the moss in the forest just seems to be dying some disappeared because people are touching and treading on it even when the signs say do not go off the board walk.

We had experiance with trip to Mossy Forrest trough Eco Cameron travel agency (also on Trip Advisor). We get top views to Tea plantations in Cameron Highlands and visit BOH tea factory and get new information about tea process from bush to mug. We really enjoy the ride by jeep Land Rover 101 with Mr. Ravi (our great guide). Just... More

Our tour guide was brilliant, explaining about the forest and how everything grew and how many years it took. It was incredible the amount of learning we had that day, we now have a better understanding of the rain forest, please do not leave any litter or touch the moss and plants, which you will learn why when you visit.

The mossy forest is part of a vast forest on Gunung Brinchang which has raised boardwalk running into the forest so as to allow visitors a great view of mosses and other fauna at close range. There are a few look-out points along the length of the boardwalk to rest and admire the beautiful distant hills and valleys. The attraction is... More

The cold and fresh air, the trees were covered by moss and fog (early morning until 8am). You also can plan for jungle trekking / hiking because they provide the trek for you to follow. View of main range were magnificent. Tip : The best time to visit Mossy Forest is around 6AM - 8AM, after that period you will... More

Can't say I enjoyed this. Ended up hurting myself quite badly as it is so wet and slippery. I've read some other comments that it is closed during this time because of that reason and if I had known this I would have given it a miss. Ended up wet, hurt and miserable. Give it a miss!

This is a pleasant cool place with a well maintained walk. Unfortunately despite sign people leave the walk and wreck the environment - a bridal couple were having photos taken off the boardwalk when we were there
