Lovely place, magnificent trees and flora/fauna to be seen. Wish the authorities did better though. Steps and barriers were broken, and no sign posting in English making it quite difficult guess work. We bought our tickets and trekked up to the canopy walk only to realise it was shut that day - which the people at the ticket counter could... More

One of the oldest tropical rainforest in Malaysia. Easily access from Kuala Lumpur via bus/train to Jerantut, then either by boat, bus or car to Kuala Tahan. For first timer, canopy walk is a must to be up close with rainforest and look at the rainforest from different perspective (above ground). Depending on your duration of stay, trekking in the... The Park is worth visiting, the boat ride there was the highlight for me, canopy walk was not the greatest! Night jungle was so so! Swimming in the river and a visit to the aboriginal village was awesome. In all cases try to avoid using any and all services by NKS tour people, they will not what they promise you!... More

We have been to quite a few rainforests including Borneo and this one is without a doubt a very old one. You can really feel it from the size of the trees even though this area is only at the very edge of the entire forest. You may not see very many large animals but in truth, I did not... More

This 130 million years old forest is definitely worth a visit. We spent several days there and enjoyed all the activities (night walks, jungle trecking, visiting a local tribe, shooting the rapids, canopy walk etc) There are 2 travel agents in Kuala Lumpur who promote a package deal which is all inclusive and very good value. Most impressive was the... More

I had book a complete return trip boat/bus, with this office in KUala Lumpur. They tell me to ask Dyno at the arrival point, to call the guesthouse I had already book, and that their office there will help me if I have any need. Today, when my girlfriend was feeling sick, she went to their restaurant/office to ask them... More

We love it here. The hike through the jungle was beautiful. (Go with a guide.) It was uncrowded, perhaps because it is somewhat off the beaten path. We did not see any notable wildlife, but the plant life was beautiful. The canopy walk was challenging for someone afraid of heights as I am, but I survived it, and I am... More

It was an amazing experience visiting the world's oldest rainforest, getting to know numerous species of plants and trees, watching wildlife and birds and the best part was the boat rides on the river through the forest with the giant trees hanging down. Visited the aboriginals Orang Asli tribe and knowing their life style, culture and habitat. The jungle trek,... More

From my experience in Brazil for example, national parks in forest show an array of animals, flora, etc I did not see here. I only went out for the day so I cannot says what can be seen after 2 or 3 days walk in the forest with a guide. But, talking to people, they enjoyed the forest but saw... More
