Superb place to relax with lots of shops and activities. There's even a subway here so for those of you with shaky legs and are afraid of heights you can chill at the many restaurants whilst waiting. It is wheelchair friendly too.

Houses the amazing skycab and a great place to do some decent, well priced, typically Asian shopping. Great toy store and several restaurants and food hall. You can change money, buy water and other supplies all here. Only disappointment is that restaurants and shops seem...More

tourists: be aware of your impact. elephants are majestic creatures. they are not meant to be subdued, chained, beaten, trained for your amusement. This is not a healthy way to contribute to an economy.

Used to be a quaint 'village' but it has been turned into a tourists' money swallowing monster. At every nook and cranny the words Pay! Pay! Pay! or Buy! Buy! Buy! seemed to be embedded. Who would have thought that one day you have to...More

This is great place for trinket shopping apart from the visits to the skybridge and associated activities. If driving, note that as of August 2017, you have to pay for parking separately but it's in expensive. Best to reach early, by 10am to beat bulk...More

We made a short tour of the village while visiting the skycab and skybridge in late July. We liked the options on offer when it came to attractions (other than skycab or skybridge), shopping, souvenirs and cafes/restaurants. Prices were reasonable and we ate at the...More

Co - located with the cable car, the Village has a surprising number of genuine shopping opportunities (ie more than just the usual souvenir trinckets) and plenty of cheap refreshments. Try the hand made icecream, made right in front of you.

Yes you can ride the cable car in the rain. Only thing to keep in mind is the view from the top.
