Tanjung Rhu is not famous for its beach but for its mangrove swamp. So I guess it is fair that there are fewer activities on the beach.

A great stay away from the hustle and bustle of main Langkawi.
We got a family room and were not disappointed.
The place was really peaceful.
Immaculate beach and pool.
Great views, amazing cross tides at sunset.
It would have been great if the restaurants etc were open a little earlier, other than that, a great stay.

Some people may not have been to this part of Langkawi Island, but when you have come here, you would know that this is probably the best beach on the entire island. Natural white sand and not over-crowded like Pantai Chenang or other commercial beaches. I strongly recommend you visit this beach to make a comparison.

The resort is excellent. Half of the resort were closed for upgrading, means they are constantly maintaining the upkeep. Staff is courteous and friendly. Rooms are clean and well kept. Beach is clean for Langkawi standards. Rather far from everything else, so would suggest to rent a car if you are staying here.

It is a beautiful beach, long and white powdery sands. Worth the trip, and not that long from where we were which was near pantai cenang.
As I was making my way along the beach a hotel staff told me I couldn’t proceed as the beach is private. I asked him who said so and he pointed to the Four Seasons security personnel who looked really uncomfortable when being put on the spot.
I went to the security guy and asked him what he meant by this beach being private. He replied by saying this beach is under the supervision of Four Seasons Langkawi. My answer was supervising the beach did not make it theirs. He acknowledged that under Malaysian law I have the right to walk along the beach. And this was exactly what I did.
This beach belongs to the people of Malaysia. And we gave Four Seasons Langkawi permission to share it with us. Not the other way round.
So when you are here, go ahead and walk along the full length of the beach. Swim if you want to.

This is my second time here. It is clean and quiet. Not many people around . If you just want to swim and lay about in the sand this is the place for you. No water sports activity while I was there

I went here about a few years back and I went again recently with the same expectations but sadly, the seawater seems to be less clear than last time and i guess it is because of the cement factory, maybe. But definitely not that clean or enjoyable.

Awesome, clean and quiet beach. Peaceful environment and a must visit beach. It is located 45minutes away from the Cenang Beach. Compare to Cenang Beach, this beach has less people and more quiet and relaxing. It has bunch of trees where you can rest and relax under with a natural shade.

Bit of a scoot for us from Cenang beach but it was worth the trip. Lovely empty beach with gorgeous soft sand. Sat in the shallows and enjoyed the view. Beware theres a monkey that tried to steal our stuff, my boyfriend had to wrestle his top from the monkeys clutches!

Hiring a car is a better option as it is away from the more commercial areas of the island. Getting a Grab or Uber might be difficult.

We are considering staying here in April 15 and would like to know if there is any evening entertainment at the resort. Any lounge/bar with live music?
