Christmas Mass

Great community. they are in the midst of collecting funds to build a Church. Come early, especially on days of obligation, or else you might need to stand.

We visited the church during the last Sunday of ADVENT. The Church mass starts at 8pm and the small congregation is very welcoming.

A small and very friendly congregation. Currently there is only one mass at 8pm on Sunday evening held in two shop lots. There are plans for a new church building. Do join them for Sunday mass if you are in Langkawi.

Sadly the Mass had been brought forward a day due to the Priest attending a meeting on the mainland. Everything was locked and shuttered, so I just said evening prayer under a flickering street lamp outside! All the very best to the RC community of Langkawi

We attended Mass at this small chapel and while the community was very small, the warmth and generosity of the congregation was larger than life. Mass is held every Sundays at 8pm celebrated by Fr Mark who travels weekly to Langkawi from Alor Star! FR Mark is very charasmatic and delivered a really inspiring sermon on 23 November 2014. We... A small building hidden between motels and very hard to locate, nothing special about it as we didn't enter it, just had a look from outside. It was closed at Wednesday afternoon.

We found the church very welcoming - on a Sat. evening in January - inspiring and uplifting. Many locals attending and also some visitors. Unusual site - it was in a line of shops - we were taken there by taxi who found it slightly difficult to find.

Attended Christmas Day mass here. Most of the congregation were on vacation from other parts of the country. Very good priest from Alor Setar, Fr Marshall. The chapel is in a shop lot behind the Coco Valley Department Store, in the area where all the banks are.
