Great Fountain Show at Night! But we don't know the schedule. And this place probably lacks or has no maintenance.

We can see the dancing water (fountain) with lights.. It is as if the fountain is the equalizer bars, it follows the sounds that came from the speaker. But we don't know the schedule, sometimes there is no show at night when we came or passed through this area. We usually see people gathered here, whether for some sports or... More

Located in the centre of Johor Bahru, nice place to jog in the morning and afternoon. On weekend there is group exercise near the stage. At night during weekend there is a musical fountain show at the lake

As with most of the things in Malaysia, at first nice and after that it becomes worse. No maintenance at all. Many things are damaged since several month, but who cares? Nobody! Boring place and a waste of time to go there.

A nice park with good ambience. However bring mosquito repellent just in case! :) Suitable for jogging as many people go there to jog.

Near to Nong Chik area that famous with many types of foodie hunting places. At Taman Merdeka, there are a lots of outdoor activity can be done with family or friends. There are jogging track and many trees & flower in this area. 1 of the most popular is musical fountain. Usually crowded during weekends.

Best place for a jog or any outdoor activities. Suitable for old folks and also family. The best time to jog here is in the morning and also in the evening. There will be a lot of people there. However the man made lake is not so clean, the water is murky.

Nice children's playground opposite the museum Islam and UMNO museum. Take a break from sightseeing for the children to play. More suitable for younger children. Too few benches for adults to sit down though.

The place is quite good but have to be maintained regularly. Had a pleasant moment strolling around the park, went up to the look-up tower, the cafe's food is okay. A huge place for kids to run around but parents, please take care of your children playing around the lake

I love this park not because of its landscape for jogging but rather because of the little european style cafe inside to have a bite and drink after jogging. The scones set are wonderful at reasonable price. This make me feel like living in the european lifestyle way. Just for the little cafe alone, i will recommend this place any... More
