We had a great night walk and saw 5 of the 6 nocturnal species. Our morning walk was also great seeing another 2 species and a family of brown lemurs came right up to us.

Just a wonderful place to see in Madagascar, for the wildlife and plants! It can be hot so be prepared.

After a very bumby ride we arrived in Kirindy Forest. A dry forest where we hired a guide to show us around and he led us to several species of Lemurs. A wonderful trip. Don't forget to bring sweets for the children you meet on...More

We had a lovely walk around Kirindy, but in the daytime, you see very little. My friends who went for the night walk said it is better, as most lemurs in Kirindy are nocturnal. However the road from Morondava to Kirindy was very bad when...More

Visitors are advised to dress in long trousers due to horseflies in the park. They bite!!! Apart from 2 species of lemurs, a bird and some small reptiles, we couldn’t see any other animal.

We much enjoyed our two walks in Kirindy forest. We saw the brown lemurs and Sifaka lemurs, 3 nocturnal lemurs, chameleons, fossa, mongoose. Different baobabs and also precious hardwoods. The lemurs are not much afraid of people in this protected area and brown lemurs came...More

Fairly pricy restaurant and a little basic but clean bungalows (no fan or AC, but warm shower and mosquito net). On the night walk you can see a number of mouse lemurs and other nocturnal lemur species. Fossas stroll through the camp quite freely, often...More

We arrived at Kirindy Forest in the evening, just in time for the night walk. There was an unexpected large crowd that evening, but they made every effort for everyone to see the nocturnal lemurs. Later that evening, a guide and I went in pursuit...More
