A very helpful staff member showed us round. Not just birds of prey , but snakes as well , and a wonderful Galapagos Tortoise. Worth the entrance fee

I had the misfortune to be taken to the falconry by my guide; I can't believe that it is still open as it clearly violates fairly basic animal welfare guidelines. I've visited zoos in a variety of countries including Madagascar and this is the worse one I've seen that I can recall. I strongly encourage you not to support this... More

As we spent a few days in the Malindi area over New Year's, we decided to visit the Falconry of Kenya, which turned out to be a nice place for the whole family to get acquainted with birds of prey and a few additional animals. On display are snakes, monitor lizards, crocodiles, a bush baby and, of course, the raptors,... More

Off Lamu road, near the Moriema cottage is a beautiful destination for bird enthusiasts. The bird varieties I saw included Eagles, Owls, Hawks, Falcons and Pecker birds, and others. The all-wise Pauline, the owl and some that seem to perform a jive are a treat. My adventurous friend, Jack opted to carry an eagle birds helped by a guide. He... More

There are other birds and reptiles here too. The Birds are taken care of. Lot of different kind of Owls, and Hawks. Some Tortoise, and lots of snakes and some crocodiles. Our Guide was very good and patiently told us about each and every animal and bird. Interesting place to visit.

This is an unusual attraction, I don't think there are any others like it in Kenya. From what I got, the initial owner started off with good intentions, but I guess it wasn't doing well, so he sold it to someone else, who does not seem to have much concern for the conditions of the place or animals. The guides... More

This was an interesting way to spend about 2 hours while in Malindi. My partner is big on photography and birding but i also enjoyed the experience. Kenyan residents pay 200/- per adult. Our guide called Samson was very knowledgeable and we got to pose with an eagle, an owl and a tortoise. However, they could maintain the place a... More
