I went with my daughter for a little tasting selection of Arba wines - having no knowledge or experience of Kazakh wines. We had a lovely select of 3 white, 3 red with a complimentary plate of cheese to accompany. Perfect! and a remarkably good range of wines - all very pleasing. Definintely worth visiting to get a taste of the region!

We had no idea that Kazachstan had wineries, we learned a lot about that. We drunk wine in a restaurant and when I saw the bottle I figures out it was local wine. They have red, wite and rosé. For us the best was the red wine. People are very friendly and helpful ! Good experience if you like wine and the history of the Kazachstan wine.

Very cozy I highly recommend this wine bar. The wines are great, we started with 8 tasters (4 white and 4 red) then ended up buying a bottle as well. The place itself has a great ambience and is easy to stay for a couple hours. Prices are also very reasonable. Staff are very friendly, helpful and speak good English which was great for us with limited Russian.

Have done a number of tadtings in my 60 plus years - this is up there as a great wine tasting experience.

We had a lovely young lady take us through a tasting of 4 reds and 4 whites - a good presentation of the pluses of each wine plus lots of information and discussion of the where and why of wine in this region

All helped at the end by a 15 minute video of their wine history which of course was accompanied by a glass of our chosen favourite wine.

Will return tomorrow for a pre dinner drink

We tried the wine tasting menu of 5 whites and 5 reds and highly recommend it.
The local wines from the Assa Valley region are exceptional and my favourite was the Ak Bqstau Red.
Prices are reasonable and they even had a keyboardist adding to the ambeince on a Friday night.
Overall great place if you want to sample local wines this region has to offer.

I am a big wine fan and this was a great find. They produce some really nice wines and their tasting room is a great location for a gathering.

On a hot afternoon we tasted a series of wines at this Arba Wine Shop. The welcome and service is very friendly. You pay from 150 to 300 tenge per wine you taste. 4 white and 5 red wines were available for tasting. You can buy wines at the locations. Our bottles were carefully wrapped so that they could withstand the flight back home.
Interesting to taste difference between the recently important Alsace Riesling and the Kazach Riesling.

I live in Almaty, but never tried kazakh wine. I read the article "How Kazakhstan Is Becoming The Next Frontier For World-Class Wine" in american forbes and decided to visit Arba wine shop. Cozy place with great local wine selection.
