Went here on a nice sun shiny day in February and we weren't the only ones. The place was packed, had to wait for a table as we were a group of 12. The wait inside to order wine was long but worth it, paid for bread and dipping oil and had to ask several times for it. I had... More

My family and I have been coming to Paumanok for close to 15 years for their barrel tastings. We truly enjoy that event and inevitably we love their wines and we purchase futures. It is a family owned vineyard and each member of their family makes my family feel as if we are all part of the one big family.... More

This winery is one of the many on the North Fork of Long Island. It was thronged with people on an October weekend. The wines were somewhat as would be expected, the food offerings better than expected. We particularly enjoyed the oysters, which are harvested just across the bay and are absolutely fresh and delicious. Pate and French bread were... More

My first vineyard and wine tasting I ever been to and I fell in love. The scenery was just breathtaking. When you come in, you are in the heart of the wine tasting room and this was the only reason I am rating a 4. The staff do not acknowledge you right away and you kind of got to fight... More

Kathy Falbo, Charles (the owner) and Kareem (the wine maker) are just the most lovely and gracious hosts. The vineyard itself is spectacular, set far enough back from the road to really allow for a peaceful and relaxing experience. Kathy, is, with out question, the greatest thing to ever happen to this place. She is so knowledgeable with regard to... More

I love it here. I like how relaxing it is. Sit back and enjoy the vineyards😁. Place to be. A few tables out back. Enjoy the sun. Drink some wine.

My wife and I tried two different tasting menus (of wines) and sat at the tables out back to enjoy the views of the vineyard. While we enjoy all their white wines, we particularly love their dessert wines, with the Late Harvest Sauvignon Blanc (2012) being our current favorite. Well worth a visit!

We like the Rieslings here, nice late harvest some years. We always have issues with all the super dry wines people prefer as we are Mosel/Rhine orientated. Paumanok offers a full range of Merlots, Cabernets, mixes, etc., etc. - they are a very competent vineyard. So, it's worthwhile to spend awhile in their tasting room sampling things. You almost certainly... More

Great wines, great hospitality, and an amazing education on the science of winemaking. Highly recommend. The Massoud family were pioneers to the North Fork of Long Island, and have done an incredible job building a great winery from a potato field.
