Unique city of Fukushima has a high peak in the middle of it. Climb and see the city from above. It has small parks for children to play and there is a shrine on the top of the hill.

Great hikes, beautiful scenery. Plenty of photo opportunities. Hiking in the summer can be a bit sweatier than usual. The high humidity is oppressive. Best to visit early in the morning before the heat gets too much.

Wish I could visit every Spring.. Painters and photographers visit here from all of Japan. Hard to believe its admission free. The honor wants us to enjoy the beauty of nature. What a sincerity..

Literally the best cherry blossoms I saw on the entirety of Japan. The entire place was amazingly beautiful, and very magical. There's not much more to say, you have to see if for yourself.
