久慈方面から八戸線で入り、朝食に立ち寄りました。以前一度朝の時間帯で来たとき、その安さと量を見るにつけ、他所で朝食を済ませたことを後悔しました。
空腹の状態で市場に到着、この日は刺身中心で5～6品は選んだでしょう。1皿250～500円ほど、東京の半値以下です。味に関しても東京だとこの3倍出さないとこの質は食せないでしょう。ただ調子に乗りすぎたため、口の中が脂べったりになり後半苦痛に変わりました。
他にも食したいものはまだまだありました。年に1回は行ってみたい場所ですね。

走るバイクの半分はノーヘル、子供がタバコを咥えながら物を売る、特大の焼酎の空きペットボトルに入れられたお茶らしき液体、トイレの入口脇にいる物乞いの人。
まだ日本にこのような場所があるのだな、とカルチャーショックを受けることができるでしょう。
食事はその場で買った切り身や焼魚を白メシでいただけます。
1000円もあれば豪遊できますが、盛りが多いので複数でシェアしましょう。
スリや置引きも多いみたいなので注意が必要です。
まだ日本にこのような場所があるのだな、とカルチャーショックを受けることができるでしょう。

八食センターとは異なり、観光客向けっぽいところではないです。方言も豊かで、青森に来た感じが味わえるところです。魚はいいものを置いてましたよ。

みなと食堂の帰りに八戸市営魚菜小売市場に初立ち寄り。12時前だったので殆どが店じまい、空いてる店の商品を見ながらお喋り中のイサバのカッチャ達に聞いたら市場は朝3時さら朝食は朝5時からとの事、次回は朝5時に来て朝食を食べてみたい。こちらの方が○食センターより地元民の食市場って感じがする。

一度は一人で、その後、家族と行きました。刺身、焼き魚、惣菜などを売っているお店が十数店あります。刺身を売ってるお店の品揃えは似ていて、マグロなどあまり特色がない気がしました。焼き魚はお店の人に話を聴きながら美味しいものが選べそうです。観光客は刺身中心、慣れた人は焼き物かな？という感じがしました。刺身、炊きたてのご飯、優しい味のエビ味噌汁で1,000円程でした。

とにかく安い！刺身３点盛りが200円とかありえない金額。量は少なめだけど500円あれば普通に食事ができる。朝市内の簡易テーブルで食べることができ、ごはんは100円。みしまサイダーも冷えたものが飲める。
ご飯は５時くらいにならないとない。
みそ汁もあると聞いていたがなかった。
朝４時半くらいに行ったが既に店が結構開いていた。
惣菜も売っている。入り口で焼いて売っているカマ焼きを逃した。
他にも珍味もあるし、ここで買ってホテルで一杯やりながら食べるのもアリ。

漁港の街の素朴な朝市といった感じでした。
市場をメインに鮮魚店やいちご煮の商店、ウニ専門店等が立ち並んでいて、生ウニが美味しそうでしたが、高価で断念、市場で1パック100円～の刺身を何点か購入して朝食として食べました。やはり地元産の刺身は新鮮で美味しかったです。
