Whilst old, the trains fulfil a very useful function in Takamatsu and you are likely to need to use them to get around as the line reaches important destinations. Staff are going out of their way to be helpful, even by Japanese standards. All a...More

The outer appearance is so vintage ! You will love it! Even the ticket system is old school. But one downside, the normal IC card cannot be used here

This is the first time and the only time I used public transport in Takamatsu since we drove a lot. It was a special experience which you could get close to the people in Japan.

As all of railroads in japan, the Takamatsu Kotohira Electric Railroad is practical and always on time. Easy to use and always clean.

highly recommended to check the time table in planning your schedule and buy the 1 day ticket. I went to Aeon Mall 永旺購物中心綾川 イオンモール綾川 by train. Very convenient
