お堀沿いに歩道が整備され、堀の対岸の城山公園の木々を眺めながら歩けます。堀の水もきれいです。地元の方がカワセミを写真に撮っていました。2羽生息しているそうです。

城山公園の南側を走る通りです。市内電車に乗車していてこの通りを通りました。お堀もあって風情ある通りで印象的でした。歩道も広いので歩いて散策するのも気持ち良いと思います。松山市民会館や愛媛県美術館も近く、観光スポットが多いです。

松山城の南側のお堀に沿った通り。ここの電停で電車は松山市駅方面とJR松山駅方面に分かれるので、交通の便としてはとてもいい。堀之内公園内にある松山市民会館や愛媛県美術館にもここからが近いです。

松山城と愛媛県立美術館の帰りに寄りました。南堀端通りは松山城公園の南側の大きな外堀沿いに東西に走る通りです。此処で松山市駅から出発した環状線は外回り統治周りに分かれます。またＪＲ松山駅から道後温泉駅またはその逆方向に向かう路面電車なら直進する区間です。木々が多く堀も見ごたえが有ります。

松山城が聳える城山の南西エリアをほぼL字形に囲んでいる堀の南面と、藩制時代の名称のままの三番町界隈の間の通りです。
掘沿いには、東堀端～南堀端～西堀端をつなぐ広い歩道が整備されていますが、バスや一般車両、伊予鉄の市内電車の全線が行き交う交通量の激しい場所なので、この辺りの散策は早朝がおススメです。
朝、車や人の往来の少ない掘の傍に立つと、静かな掘の水面越しに見る掘の内側・・三之丸だった掘之内地区の樹木の緑や、美人の狸様が祀られている東角地のお袖大明神の重なり合う赤い鳥居などに、古き時代の面影が感じられます。

なかなか趣きがある通りですよ。横に坊ちゃん電車が走っていて、県庁や市役所を見ながら散歩することになります。

南堀端通りは松山城堀之内地区の南側の堀沿いに東西に走る通りです。松山駅から道後温泉駅に向かう路面電車が走る広い道です。歩道も広くとても歩きやすくて良かったです。
南堀端には桜も咲いていて花見をしながら歩くにも良かったです。

白鳥がお出迎えしてくれます。街の中の静かなひと時を過ごせます。お堀の中にもイベント会場があり、心と頭のいいリフレッシュができます。白鳥がかわいい～(^^♪

松山城のお堀の南側に伸びる大通りです。国道でもあり伊予鉄の路面電車も走る松山を代表する通りだと思います。なによりも通りに面してお堀の水面が伸びているので散歩するには気持ちよく、それでいて歩道は人通りが少ないのでノンビリと歩くことも出来ます。

通りの名前そのまま松山城のお堀の南側の道路で伊予鉄の路面電車が走っています。高知と松山を結ぶ国道56号線の終点になる通りでです。堀側の歩道は散歩におススメノコースです。
