I think this hell is the prettiest of all the hells. The lakes are absolutely lovely. Don't miss the greenhouse where the gases emitted are used to nourish beautiful plants.

One of the Hot Spring around the district which offer for both soaker & visitor. There are food stalls outside & there are a hot spring for hot spring lover who want to have a soak. The garden has 2 pools one big blue one...More

It is a worth seeing jigoku, with lovely Japanese gardens around that are worth a visit. Beautiful butterflies and dragonflies!

One of the most beautiful hot spring in Beppu with turquoise blue water. In front with f the jigoku, there is modern souvenir shop. Parking is free.

Very big area. Near the entrance, there is a store that sell very small manjus. The area also has a greenhouse where you can see lotus that survive in extremely hot water. As with the other hells, there is a souveneir shop in here.
