This is our first try and I suppose I was expecting a lot from the experience and was slightly disappointed with the warm sand. The lady who ‘bury’ me was skillful and ensured that I am totally covered.

Omg! I would definitely go there again when visiting Beppu. Hot sand bath is sooo relaxing. Staff is super nice. If you bring your camera with you they even take pics of you while you just lay there and listen to wawes.
