We learnt so much about the surronding areas form this Museum. Lots of information on the earthquake that hit Kumamot a year ago, the hardship and the rebuilding and restoration they are currently doing to get the city back to its finest is incredible. There...More

It is more a gallery than an art museum. It is not a big gallery but with interesting collection. It is also situated right at the shopping center which is convenient.

Usually with some interesting exhibitions. Worth a visit esecially after a tired day of sightseeing or walking in Kamitori and Shimori malls in the downtown area for a short break.. one could just sit and rest a bit or have coffee in the adjacent cafe...More

This is a really nice place to rest from the busy streets of the shopping arcade. It is normally quiet and peaceful. They switch up the art exhibitions every month or so, some are free and some arn't.
