If you’re visiting Kagoshima, riding this tram is a must. There are many kinds and colours, and may seem old-style, but that nostalgic feeling is worthwhile.

Definitely get a ticket and ride the tram. A great way to see part of the city centre from the train station to downtown.. It is cheap and fun. Highly recommend giving it a try.

I took the Tram from Kagoshima Chuo station to the station near the Sakurajima port. Travel around Kagoshima is easy with these trams.

We Payed 600 yen for a day ticket, great value making it so was easy to get around. It also gave us discounts on to the ferry to see the volcano. The bus around the island was free with this ticket. The tram was not...More
