Can't say I enjoyed this experience. It is great for children, but not for me! The areas that the whale shark and stingrays were in was far too small. The same for the area for the dolphins.

Great experience here as everything here is clean and proper. Fun way to discuss marine animals with your kids. Dolphin show was a treat. Do swing by the souvenir shop to get some treats back home!

It's number 1 in Lonely Planet so we went and it was fun. Seeing a whale shark cruising around was something new and there is lots of other good stuff.

I was a reluctant visitor to this but my husband really wanted to go and I ended up really enjoying it. It would be great for kids so much interactive stuff to do. Bit alarmed that the restaurant was called Dolphin Kitchen....

I often come here with my wife and child (buy a yearly pass for the price of a couple of visits) when we are out for a relaxing afternoon near the sea. The selection of fish and sea life is excellent and so are both...More

The aquarium is very accessible by the tram and buses. It's right next to the ferry to sakurajima. They have daily feedings show for multiple animals. The dolphins show was pretty amazing. Unfortunately it's all in Japanese.

I've visited 3 major aquariums in Japan, and so far, I've liked this the most. Upon entry, the escalator takes you through a long tunnel where you feel like you are descending beneath the waves to the heart of the ocean. You wind up before...More
