和歌山市民会館は南海電車 和歌山市駅の近くにあるホールです。JR和歌山駅からは徒歩で２０分程度で歩ける距離です。

南海和歌山市駅から徒歩５分程度のところにあり、道なりに歩いて行けば右側（紀の川の河口側）に見えてきます。普通のイベントホールです。開館当時は美しい建物でしたが老朽化が進んでいてちょっと廃れた印象です。それでも結構なコンサートなどが開催されています。駐車場は最寄の市営駐車場があり、また、周辺にコインパーキングが沢山あります。道を隔てた向かい側にバイク用のパーキングんもあります。

和歌山市内にある有数のコンサートホールです。1000席以上収容可能なので、ときどき有名人のコンサートをやっているようです。和歌山市駅からも徒歩10分で交通至便なところにあります。

報道関係者による講演が無料で開催とのポスターを見かけ行きました。講演会は大盛況で立ち見がでるほどでした。館内に置かれていたのでリーフレットなどを見ますと無料での催し物もそれなりにあるんだと気付かされました。

音楽劇を見に行きました。
小ホールと、ありましたが、
大ホールでも通りそうなほど、広かったです。
ただ、周りには食事やお茶をするところは見当たりませんでした。
また、和歌山市駅は改修工事中だそうで、
コンビニしかなく、
おしゃべりをしたい気持ちを抑えて帰りました。
大阪へ帰るには、特急が30分にしかありません。

ホールの収用人数とか、借りる際の金額とかを聞くために、入ったのですが、パンフレットとか並んでいるところには、そのような資料は見当たらず、レストラン奥の事務室に入って、職員さんから資料をもらいました。

地元の方向けの施設なっており、こちらに公演を見にくる以外は観光客にとっては特に用事のない場所です。南海和歌山駅から近いところにありました。特に用事はなかったので、建物を見ただけです。

外観は古いホールですが、中は綺麗で、音響もとても良いホールです。
大ホールの客席数は役1400席。小編成のオーケストラを聞くにはとても良いホールです。
