浄土真宗本願寺派の寺院です。

古くからの住宅街の近くに建っています。少し小高い山の壁面に位置しているように見えます。周辺には大小の神社は多くありますが、寺院は他に見当たりませんでした。
境内に入るといきなり本殿が目の前になります。広くはありませんが、駐車場も完備されています。
