Take the bus from Nikko to Yumoto Onsen and start a trip along the Yuno lake. It is a town with nice onsens.

Yes, for example Yudokoro Sangetsu Goshiki-no-yu - a small onsen bathhouse in the North-Western part of the village, close to the Yunodaira onsen marsh. It has an indoor bath and a rotemburo.
