Good location with 1 hour drive from Toyko. A lot of jacqucci pools with powerful jets. Excellent onsen pools , sauna rooms and relaxing area and is just nice place to spend 3 to 4 hours. Entry fee is 700 yen for weekday. Restaurant sells delicious set meals ranging from 800 to 1000 yen.

This new onsen - an old tile factory - was my first onsen experience and I loved it. We went on a Sunday afternoon which is clearly a very popular time with families. The changing rooms and washing facilities were beautifully clear and sparkling - as you would expect - and generously equipped with shampoo etc. The onsen itself was relaxing inside and outside - I loved the shallow hot bath outside where you could lie and look up at the trees. A lovely experience.
