I parked my car at Kumagaya Station and strolled around the shops connected to the station.
The smell of the station, people walking quickly, and the air of people meeting up for lunch - it's a lively town.
Az Kumagaya is a complicated area and it's easy to get lost.

熊谷駅の改札口を出て少し行ったところに入り口があり、駅直結の立地です。時間があまりなく、土地勘もない旅行者にとっては駅ビルにある飲食店や土産物屋は便利ですね。

熊谷駅直結の駅ビルです。駅のコンコースにならぶ店舗もアズロードという名前で付帯施設になっています。ここのSweets＆Giftは埼玉の銘菓が一同にそろっているのでお土産を選ぶ際には便利です。

JR熊谷駅の駅ビルショッピングセンター。改札フロアにも出入口があり、本館、イースト館ともつながっています。5階がレストランフロアで、改札横にはお土産屋さんが並んでいます。こちらのお土産屋さんのスペースは、熊谷のお店が並んでいて、おすすめです。

大宮高崎間の最も栄えた新幹線も止まる駅だけに、駅ビルも立派です。昔はいつも一旦駅から出て、1階エントランスから入ってました。熊谷駅の改札横の連絡通路は目立ちません。5階の飲食店は結構充実してます。

アズ熊谷は、JR熊谷駅に直結したショッピングセンターです。11月に熊谷に行った時に利用しました。お弁当、お土産、カフェ（休憩・時間調整）に利用しました。何かと便利なスポットでした。

埼玉県の高校ラグビーの決勝戦を見に熊谷のラグビー場へ行きました。熊谷駅の改札を抜けるとそこは駅ビルの熊谷アズです。複雑な建物ですが中を通り一階に出ました。飲食店も沢山入ってます。

一階にマツキヨが入っていますから、薬はここで買えます。スーパーっぽい食料品店もありますから何らかのついでに買い物するには便利です。ファッションフロアは最近テナントの入れ替わりが激しいようで所々閉店してます。
