This is the perfect place to bring your family. Its even great for couples as well. I went with my partner and it was 700 yen each. Which is super cheap. We literally spent the whole day here as it is huge! Great day!

Zoorasia is a fabulous place to visit with small children or not. The weekends are particularly busy yet you have enough space as the park is so big. There us a great variety of animals and most were up and about although there are some...More

I have been to Zoorasia about 5 times as my wife is from Yokohama and we take our child there each time we visit Yokohama. A very nice and easy to get around zoo with a lot of animals and shows during the day. There...More

If you have got kids, this is a must go place. Beautiful facility with vast space for the animals. Great to watch the inhabitants roaming around in almost natural setting.

I first read many reviews on Trip Advisor, but I was not prepared for the sheer beauty of the place. Yes, there were many people (we went on a fine Saturday), and yes, there were many screaming kids running here and there, but my adult...More

This park is pretty huge and you will walk a lot. Everything is spead out nicely. If you want to hold the rabbits make sure you get there way early. There are 3 large play grounds to tire the kids out.

Zoorasia is a little hard to get to (the roads can be crowded), but the effort is worth it. There are lots of animals in a variety of settings along a very long walkway which can be, depending on your level of fitness, a great...More

Good family day out. Plenty of food and drinks if you haven't packed a bento yourself. Particularly like the new African area. Some of the animals look distressed and bored showing signs of repetitive walking backwards and forwards. I remembered the polar bear from our...More

I went here for a family day out and want disappointed. Highlight for the day was the Ockapi. Zoo is well laid out and kept in good condition. A bit of a mission to get there from Yokohama central.

I will be chilly/pretty cold in Japan during January. However, if you are properly wrapped up you should stay warm.
