Not to be missed. Great collection of modern and Japanish art. Also enjoyed a few Frida Kahlo paintings. Closed Thursday. 1.500 yen entrance.

How lucky to come by at the time of a Monet exhibition. Magnificent art gallery, the building is spectacular, lots of space and light. The Monet exhibition was excellent also, highly recommended.

The museum is getting a Monet exhibit July 14 (through September) so they were closed on the day I tried to go. The exterior is lovely, however, and there is a small greenway with grass, trees and stone "benches" directly across. The MarkIS shopping mall...More

Wife and I enjoyed the standard plus special Tate Nude exhibit. It did not take long to get through; probably about an hour. I picked up a magnet and a few postcards. It was a fun way to explore.

Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. We saw an exhibition of Japanese modern and contemporary art. It is a really nice space, and you can probably see most of it in 2-3 hours if you're not up for slowly walking around it...More

Not sure how this museum actually works. When I visited at end-October 2017, they were holding an exhibition which charged an entry fee. That seemed to be the only accessible exhibition as I was unable to find any other public gallery. I ended up at...More
