I visited at 2pm on a weekday. There were few cars in the parking lot and few people on the premises, so I was able to enjoy a walk with my dog without any worries. Just a little distance from the center, you can spend a meaningful time in silence without any unnecessary worries. A great facility for those with dogs.

箱根やすらぎの森は本当に名前の通りやすらぎを得られるような静かでいい場所です。大迷路のような場所で森を十分に楽しむことができます。公園を抜けて芦ノ湖まで降りて行ってもいいと思います。

箱根峠から芦ノ湖に向かう下り坂の大きなカーブの途中左側に入り口がある。無料の広い駐車場に森の案内板がある。森のふれあい館や森の散歩道、観察と冒険の道などが地図に所要時間とともに示されている。散歩道の途中にはいろいろな広場がある。おむすび、かえで、ファミリー、創作の森広場などと名付けられている。広場でベンチに腰掛けてお弁当を食べている年配のご夫婦を見かけた。のどかです。展望所もあったが、木が大きくなり案内にある芦ノ湖や箱根の山並みは見えなくなっている。かろうじて木の間から箱根神社の朱の鳥居が鮮やかに見えた。散歩道は森を抜ける周回コースで、アップダウンがあり、ちょっとしたハイキングです。

もっと遠いかと思ったのですが意外と近かったような気がします。良いお天気とおいしい空気が味方してくれたのだと思います。散歩に良いコースでした。

お盆シーズンで何処も駐車場が満車でもここは大丈夫です。夏でも涼しいのでお弁当を持ってブラブラ歩きましょう。あちこちにテーブルがあるので好きな時にランチできますよ。ワンコもOK。紅葉も良いし春夏秋冬楽しめます。

箱根町から歩いていける憩いの場。自然がたくさんで気持ちの良い場所です。春から初夏はうぐいすの鳴き声も聞こえ、ガチなハイキングはしたくないけど手軽に自然を楽しみたい人におすすめ。

仙石原から湖尻、真田浜と芦ノ湖西岸の遊歩道を歩いた最後にたまたま見つけた「やすらぎの森」。
箱根町までの道中、最後の散策で寄りました。
よく整備されていて、人も多いです。イベントがよく行われているようです。

芦ノ湖のほとりにある森林公園で、天気がいい時には周辺の箱根の山並みや富士山が綺麗に見えます。「森のテーマ館」という施設では、箱根の自然をテーマにした常設展示のほか、時折イベントなども開催されているようです。

山の中腹にある公園で、芦ノ湖や富士山がよく見えて景色は良いです。軽くハイキングするには良いところです。駐車場も広いです。
