This is a shrine close to Mito Station North exit. Lots of people visit this shrine everyday. There is the main shrine and a smaller one too. Worth a visit if you are in Mito. You have to pass by this place on the way...More

Easy access from Mito station. Colorful. Shopping nearby. Public parking available. Within walking distance of the park.

水戸東照宮 [水戸] Mito Tōshōgū (Mito) Dedicated to the founder of the Tokugawa Shogunate, Mito Tōshōgū was built by Tokugawa Yorifusa, daimyō of Mito-han and middle counsellor at court.
