Bus from Hakodate Stn takes 100 minutes or so. Scenic drive along the coast. From bus stop way up the mountain ,only 30 minute walk up to the top.Enjoy the sulphuric fumes ,very safe . You can also walk around the surrounding hills with nice...More

Hi, There is a bus service. Starting from Hakodate Stn, leaves every 90 minutes or so, starting from 10 am,it will take about 2 hours max.

Hi Susan, There are : Ishida Onsen, Cape Onsen hotel and Esan Onsen Ryokan. Onsen means Hot spring bath. Ryokan means small hotel. Arun
