Took the tram up to the top of My. Hakodate. Was cloudy the first trip up but made it back the next morning and was greeted by some beautiful views for miles in every direction. Rated one of the best nighttime views in the world....More

Went up the mountain to see the night view. Although crowded, cars were fast and efficient. Be prepared for a long queue if going to see the night view.

Car park is available there, don't know if it's free. I went there by bus and took a walk
