We were attending a conference that held a banquet here. Only got a fairly short trip around the garden but we thoroughly enjoyed the foliage, flowers, structure and layout. Worth a visit. The banquet food was delicious.

The garden is very beautiful and well worth the bus trip if you're in Matsue. Was my girlfriend's highlight of the trip.
