Heading east from the north exit of Kofu Station and passing Yamate Gomon, you will find Koshu Yume Koji. This area is a reproduction of Kofu castle town from the Meiji, Taisho and early Showa periods, where the atmosphere of Little Edo still lingers.
Koshu Yume Koji is home to a symbolic tower. It is a reproduction of the "Toki no Kane" (Bell of Time), a bell that told the time to residents for over 200 years until the early Meiji period. Inside Yume Koji, there are wine cellars, general stores, cafes and other establishments that give off a Little Edo atmosphere, so it was fun just to look around.

Kosshu yume koji is located in Kofu. We can go on foot from Kofu station.
There is a small museum where many pictures and jewelry are exhibited. There is many kinds of small shops. For example, a dry fruits shop, a stationery shop, restaurants, delicious cafes and so on.
You may enjoy to go every shop. When you have a little time, let's call at there.

There are not many people. The restaurants are closed for lunch. I wonder why it feels so different every time I go. Maybe it's the quality of the restaurant.
