Fun thing to do but it is not as impressive as in the pictures. They didn't accept foreign cards so makes sure you take cast with you

We stayed in Izukogen for three nights and it's a small and quiet town. Mt. Omuro is a must go. You must take the lift to go up and down. We was worried whether the lift is safe enough for us with two young kids....More

Good views of the surrounding area, overlooks the ocean and you can see all the way to Kamakura and beyond. The lift to to the top takes about 10 minutes, on winter days its quite cold and windy, you'll need a good jacket!

When you Visit Izu then trip is incomplete until you climb Mt Omuro. It has almost same shape has Mt Fuji which make its more interesting. There is ropeway to climb till top of mountain. View from top is very nice specially in Spring time...More
