Lovely suspension bridge along the coastal Jogasaki coastal walk. Great views of the rocks below. Do this as part of the entire walk, not in isolation.

I'm normally not one to go somewhere to sit and stare at views. I mean, you travel all the way to Japan to just sit and stare at something?! However, this was worth it!! A great break away from the cities.

A nice cliffside walk with dramatic views, a choice of easy or moderate hikes and a lighthouse to climb. Light snacks availble

The suspension bridge by the lighthouse is only so-so, (although views from the lighthouse are great), but the suspension bridge several km south is amazing--very cool, old and not highly traveled.

This place is situated close to Ito Marine Park (or oceanic park). There is a lighthouse close to the suspension bridge and I recommend to go up to the top of the lighthouse for an amazing view.

The bridge itself is not that big a deal, it's the setting along the coast that is spectacular. Wild and rugged, there is a nice trail along the cliffs if you are in the mood for an easy hike. The lighthouse is worth a climb,...More
