A nice if small collection

This is not a huge museum by any means, but the stuff they do have is pretty interesting. We went with my 7 year old son who was very keen to see some Samurai armor and weapons... read more

Every trip to Kanazawa I make time to got this museum. The Honda family has an impressive collection of historical items and the display does change. I'd love to see more of their items in a larger display, but happy to see what are family heirlooms.

This is not a huge museum by any means, but the stuff they do have is pretty interesting. We went with my 7 year old son who was very keen to see some Samurai armor and weapons. We did not have enormous expectation and were pleased with what we found. There is very little in the way of English signage... More
