Lots of archaeology exhibits, ancient civilization of Japan, there is also a video screening of the founder of Sukyo Mahikari. Informative, interesting, spirituality, a must visit in Takayama. Also various exhibitions are held.

They got amazingly extensive collections of valuable items from all over the world! I was surprised to find such a place in small town of takayama. Their explanatory sign boards are informative enough, and it is really worth visiting.

Lots of interesting items on display. Quite informative. There isn't any commentary or guides through the museum but there is plenty of information in English and Japanese.
