Good information available on their website. When there were too many people taking a particular bus, they actually lined up another bus to accommodate everyone in line!

comfortable to travel on. The ones we traveled on left on time and arrived as scheduled. The drivers seemed very competent and we felt comfortable and safe.

because i=of the heavy rain the month before we could not travel by train to Takayama. We took the bus instead. It is a good way of travelling, about two hours with a stopover in between.

I think yes. I ordered online and paid by credit card. To guarantee your seat it's better to reserve and buy your tickets online, especially during busy season.

Hello, you can actually buy bus ticket from Takayama to Shirakawago, then another bus ticket from Shirakawago to Kanazawa. You can stay a couple of hours or more, depending on the time you want to depart Takayama. There are... More

Go to the nohi bus station to check . We went a day earlier to explore takayama. I suggest you buy your ticket there and check which one suits your schedule.
