At first glance you are thinking this is going to be a big mall but actually, it is just a structure with some shops on the ground floor. I wouldn't purposefully travel there for this for sure.

Went to Oasis 21 in the afternoon to do a little bit of shopping. I would recommend visitors to go in the evening because the roof looks like a spaceship! Could see Nagoya Tower from there as well.

Came here by chance as we had some time to kill before our next appointment. It is more like a square with public transport interchange built in. The shops around are common and can be found very much elsewhere. Don’t be fooled by the futuristic look of the glass-look top. It is all that is, nothing special. I would not loss a sleep if I did not make it there.

You can get to Oasis 21 via Subway and it is at the Sakae Stop, about a 5 minute ride from the Nagoya Station. The outside looks quite futuristic. Makes for a good photo.

It is a 3 dimensional park with its distinctive Spaceship Aqua. There is this huge water filled glass roof , the above ground Field of Green park space , a semi sunken bus terminal and underground Galaxy Platform with a wide range of some 30 shops and restaurants. At night, the Spaceship Aqua is illuminated and very photogenic.

I visited nice place at night and true enough the view was better than during daytime. From the top, I was able to see Nagoya TV Tower, and the surrounding places. It was really cool especially the pool they had on the roof.

We came here recently for a sushi lunch and its our 2nd time visiting Nagoya. Nice views from here and its free to enter. Also lots of shops in this area and very accessible. The rooftop open area gives a panaromic view of the city skyline and the Nagoya Tower. Once you come here, no need to go up the Sky Tower anymore.

This is the futuristic oval building with a deep bowl of water on the roof of the building. You can take some good shots up here with 360 view of the surrounding. There’s lots of shopping inside and lunch at the sushi restaurant is a good choice too.

Came here for lunch and managed to buy some quality locally made ratings and clothings inside the mall.

Good place to be on a sunny day.

The complex consists of shops, stage, rooftop with a shallow pool (with an environment theme) and bus station.
It was pleasant to spend an hour here although a dance show was performing that evening which made it noisy. It seems to cater for the younger set.
I liked the modern architecture.
