Great shopping, cafes and restaurants. I enjoyed 3days here and would visit this area again. I will say that you know when it’s Saturday because after Friday nights the pavements are covered in vomit from the Friday night out! Lol!

Sakae is basically a shopping district. Of course, there are tons of eateries around the area. You are sure to find the things that you need here. A central shopping district in Nagoya!

If you are into shopping when you are in Nagoya, you should pay a visit at the Sakae area. It has many departmental stores such as Mitsukoshi and Takashimaya. It has a Don Quijote store in one part of Sakae near Mitsukoshi Mall.
