A must visit when you are at Nagoya. Just alight at Osu Kannon Station using the JR line. We actually spent 5hrs covering the entire shopping area with 3 alleys and left/right connected lanes. There’s so much to offer from apparel to foods/snacks to souvenirs...More

Some fascinating places to see both old and new, with some fabulous shrines and temples dotted everywhere. Some great shopping too

You can walk all the way to Osu from Sakae after spending big bucks on luxury items. There are fewer chain stores here (still some) and more homely little shops run by older people. There is one supermarket which is the cheapest we've seen in...More

Seriously, I cannot understand why this was even mentioned by my guidebook. It's just a long covered arcade of shops, selling quite ordinary things like shoes, phone casings, snacks and backpacks. Among them are a few cafes and restaurants, but again nothing outstanding. It does...More

We stopped by to experience some shops that differed from the department stores found in the malls. Osu shopping street provided a local feel and we actually found things we hadn't seen in the major department stores around the train stations. We found knick-knacks that...More

Just the usual bunch of shops in this area. Not really a lot of local character that i could see on display.

A mish mash of different shops inclyding Indian clothing, s.american music shop and foreign restaurants. Vintage clothing although more expensive than at home and obviously imported...more charity shop than chic. Apparently twice a mo th there is an antique fair. Worth a visit.

I went in August . Our hotel was next to Osu shopping street. During a weekday we decided to have an early night and walked thru around 8. A noticeable number of shops were closed around then.
